 Like a lighthouse standing by the shore to provide guidance, protection and symbolising human strength, TEDxMarvila is firmly anchored in the reality of our complex world and aims at fostering dialogues that spark inspiration, resilience and hope. We have chosen as our shore, Marvila, an inspiring model of ambitious transformation benefiting the community and the echo of human dialogues and connectedness through culture and art. 

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxMarvila, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAmsterdam event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
