Where the conversation continues

TEDxMarvila Salon is an intimate, recurring gathering created to keep our community connected between our main TEDx events.

While our annual TEDxMarvila conference brings ideas to a larger stage, the Salon format invites something different: closeness, dialogue, and continuity. It is a space to reflect, exchange perspectives, and stay curious together throughout the year.

Each Salon brings together members of the TEDxMarvila community for carefully curated talks, conversations, and shared experiences. These gatherings are smaller by design, allowing ideas to be explored more deeply and connections to form more naturally.

TEDx Salon events are part of the official TEDx format and can only be organized by teams that have already hosted at least one TEDx event with live speakers. TEDxMarvila Salon builds on the foundation of our main event, carrying its values forward while creating room for ongoing learning and human connection.

More than a talk series, TEDxMarvila Salon is a living community. It is for those who believe that ideas do not end when the stage lights go down, and that meaningful conversations deserve time, care, and continuity.

Join the next TEDxMarvila Salon

Join the next TEDxMarvila Salon on May 8th 2026 at the United Lisbon Center for the Arts and Sports, at Edu Hub Lisbon, an evening dedicated to the deeply human art of public speaking.

Rooted in TED’s philosophy that ideas change everything, this conversation will explore what it truly means to stand up and be heard—from vulnerability and authenticity to managing fear, presence, and connection.

Featuring TEDxMarvila speakers, coaches, and experts, we’ll uncover the emotional, mental, and physical journey behind impactful talks, as well as the challenges and rewards of sharing ideas that matter.
